I have two pumps (main & back-up) which pumps water up from the basement well. The water in the well comes from:
It is vital that these pumps work at all times & a battery/mains back-up system has just been produced. I snapped one up & fitted it this week. The electrical unit is a combined charger and transformer. It will supply mains power to the back-up pump if the main one fails whilst constantly charging the battery. If the mains supply should fail it will convert 12v DC to 240v AC to supply the pump for several days. PS. We had 2 power cuts this week in the gales!
This week I complete the planning, make a new trap door and build the stud walls.
You will recall the on-going major dispute with BT (see Week 111 and all weeks since). It has been unusable since May.
No response this week.
To be continued.....
So we don't forget what we have achieved here is a quick look at what we were doing one and two years ago.
