Week8 - 3Dec 2001

A very productive week.

The roof trusses are positioned by crane.
Health & Safety prohibits manually lifting these days.
We get a look at the inside of the workshop for the first time. A digital cordless phone has proved invaluable - much business conducted from the dumper!
At first we thought the truss manufactures had made a mistake as the trusses should not over-hang the wall plate according to NHBC by more 50 mm or 1 third of the distance etc etc.
Anyway, a call confirmed they were correct and were done to match the fascia heights of the two roofs which have different width  trusses. Phew!
A digital cordless phone has proved invaluable - much business conducted from the dumper!

Small quantities of water are seeping into the bottom but a submersible pump (£30/week) is more than adequate for keeping it clear.
